Do these pregnancy test kits work on dogs??
- By pjw [gb] Date 01.10.04 14:51 UTC
No.

I once asked my vet why, and I can't remember the reason now!!
- By Jeangenie [gb] Date 01.10.04 16:15 UTC
No, because bitches secrete the same hormones whether or not they have actually conceived.

JG is right
A bitch releases the same hormones if she is pregnant or not, therefore no test of urine or blood would be able to differenciate between a pregnant / not pregnant sample.
