Hi All

Just to let you all know that the 2 weeks is up today since Hamish went and i collected him from my in laws this morning, he was so pleased to see me when i arrived that it brought tears to my eyes, he grabbed hold of my hand with his mouth and was making such strange noises to let me know he was pleased to see me, once he had calmed down and let me inside the door he then layed by my feet. He is in such great condition that they have obviously looked after him really well, and he looks like he has put on a bit of weight aswell which is good, they said that he has been a little treasure they have had no accidents with him he has been absolutely fine, eating and sleeping at night no problem, they said that they are going to really miss him now he has gone because he has got such a character to him, they have offered to have him if ever we want to go away or if we want to go out for the day so it is nice of them, and also Hamish likes them so this is another good thing, he is asleep in his bed now after such a busy start to the day, i think he deserves a nice little sleep before he has his tea later.
At the moment my skin is better than it was the peeling of my hands and feet and the soreness is better, so it is just a case of waiting to see if it comes back now he has returned, i really hope that it isn't him but we will have to see. It could have been the heat of the summer that caused it but time will tell, the rash around my neck is no better so this is not caused by Hamish but the soreness and peeling of my hands/feet could be, i am just keeping my fingers crossed. I will keep you all posted as to what happens over the next week. Thank you to everyone who posted and sent emails it is really kind of you all.

Thanks
Helen and Hamish

How wonderful to know you have a safe place, where he's loved and is happy, to leave him if ever you need to go away! Fingers crossed that your skin doesn't flare up again now he's home.
