Topic Dog Boards / Visitors Questions / Put my sibe to the companion dog club?
- By Guest [gb] Date 02.10.04 21:53 UTC
I have entered my sibe into the companion dog club and put him into the discover dog show he is entered the best conditon and most handsome dog.   I havent heard anyting back yet but will i hear by post or do i have to go on the internet? The reason i ask this Question is because my interenet will not connect me to the kennel club website. I do only have a problem with connecting to this site and it is very upsetting as i would like to know. The enteries for this finish on the 3.10.04 i would love him to have a chance of going as he was sold as a pet dog so has no K.C. but i love him anyway. If he was to be enterd would you take would you take him by car or try the train and tube for the first time? i only ask this question because i am not to clued up with driving to london and i have seen many dogs return from discover dogs on the train quite happily. Should i try driving so he does not get stessed he will only be just 6 months when discover dogs is on. Please let me know your veiws on this matter.

Hi guest, it may be me but I am not sure I know what you are asking. Think you mean you have entered your dog into a companion show that is being held at the same time as Discover Dogs that is held at Earls Court (or is it a photo competition). As you have entered him in the 'fun' classes he will be judge by the name of that class, that is if in the judges opinion he is the most hansom dog and or in the best condition. These classes are for fun and you should do them for fun and not be too upset if your dog does not get a place, but if he does get a place it is very nice to know that someone else (the judge) thinks your dog is as nice as you do.

As to the travelling it would be best to do what you feel most comfortable with, driving in London can be difficult if you are not used to driving in a city. I would also go to some more local companion shows if you can be for travelling to London for one.

If I have got hold of the wrong idea, I'm sorry, perhaps you could join the Forum and let us know if I have answered you question or totally misunderstood.
