Topic Dog Boards / Showing / decisions decisions !

Right folks help me decide - it's our club show tomorrow BUT the groeny pup has gone lame  - the two year old 'big hope' has gone bald round his eyes - the weather is supposed to be foul and the show is being held at Oxford and I live in Cambridgeshire.

HOWEVER - I have never missed a club show - the Terv pup is looking great ( but faces stiff competition) and the 4 year old is in full bloom ( but is past her best ) the judge is an all rounder and I don't know what she will like  Do I go or have a lie in ???? :-o

Well if you don't go you will be wondering what if...........................

I nearly did this a couple of weeks ago although not a breed club show but
all breed open show..wasn't feeling grand etc..nearly didn't go.
Made my mind up on the morning, made it with 15 minutes before showing commenced
Which is unusual for me :D I'm normally really early..
Anyhow we went we showed and came away with BOB and working grp 4th.

So you never know!! You may not feel that positive at the moment, but it's always the
'what if'!! ;)

Best of luck if you do go
Kirstine :)

If you do not go you will never know, Anyway I have a first show with the Lhasa Apso tomorrow and if I have to get up I do not see why anyone else should have a lye in all snug and cosy

Hi

well I didn't go !! from the phone calls I've had it was a good job too - judging was definately not my type and a couple of dogs that I had bred were placed way down the line so I'm glad I had a llie in instead.

Hope you had a good show with your Lhasa,  Britney was it local ?

It was at Market Harbrough, but there were only 2 Lhasa Apso's in the class's so it was no victory, but she did behave so it helps  me towards the Lhasa Club show next weekend gives me a bit more confidence, as I have not show small dogs for over 12 years.
