My puppy is nearly 5 months old and im currently feeding him on nature diet puppy. It says on the website to continue feeding on the puppy version until 6 months of age. Would it be alright to change over to the adult range now (as they do a nice range of flavours compared to just the one puppy) or is it best to wait?

Shouldn't hurt, but maybe go for the "Optima" one as it contains more veggies etc... than the others.

Hi Guest,

We changed our bitch over from puppy to adult at 4 ½ months of age (as she is a large breed and was over 20Kg at this point). We have a male pup whose currently on the puppy diet and I'm going to leave him on it until he's about 5 - 5 ½ months old and then change him over to the adult (as he's slightly on the small side for his age).

If your dog is a large breed then you could probably change them over now, though I would be careful about trying too many flavours - I gave our bitch a lamb and rice one and she had diarrhoea as a result - I put her onto original instead (as this is the closest to puppy, ingredients wise) and she was fine. She's over a year old now and eats all flavours :)
