Anyone watch it, i watched for the first time last night, usually out playing darts on thursdays,
did you see that dinner lady, full marks for her,
my son and i are veggetarians, everytime he comes home from school and i ask what he had for dinner he replys a bowl of chips, when i ask why he replys there is nothing else i fansied,
the school (secondry, he is 11) say they do an veggetarian option but by that it seems they mean an tuna moyo roll,
when my son is at home he eats healthy and loves his veg, chick peas , lentils, soya, quorn, fish etc etc you name it as long as it isnt meat he eats it but he does like a variety,

Im going to try the Challenge, I have ordered my big challenge pack for £3.99,
I and my son do eat healthy meals but we do also love ice-cream, chocolate etc,
my hubby and 15 yr old daughter on the other hand are terrible they hate veg and dont eat much fruit

I didnt see this, sounds interesting though I will have to look at the website.

Ive been veggie for over 10 years my difference to you and your son though is that I dont eat fish either, its an abosolute nightmare trying to find veggie meals when eating out because people tend to think all vegetarians eat fish so there is only usually only one totally veggie option which is usually veggie lasagne   It is worse abroad though, I find myself living on salad and chips :(

The whole object of the programme is to get people eating a healthy diet and lowering there collestrol (sorry if i spelt that wrong) which cant be bad, they picked a whole street to do the challenge, was quite interesting

We've been following it from the start - it's quite interesting!!   They are tackling fitness as well as food - Ive ordered the pack (haven't received it yet, but a friend has just got hers - each week they set a task or project - 1st week was practising "buttock clenches" all day  - forgotten what 2nd week was - 3rd week was conducting an audit on your fridge & freezer, chucking out everything high in fat (icrecream, pies, sausages, mayonnaise, chips, ready meals, etc etc - and of course last night was getting the kids cooking!

You can join, on the BBC website, input your weight, height etc and it will come back with your BMI (body mass index) and you get your own "locker" - where you can weigh in each week etc .
