I have said it before (& got my head bitten off too!) but 1st point of contact could be your breeder, as he/she (one hopes!) will know a bit more about your line & whats behind your bitch.

With all due respect you are leaving it too late to get it correct for this season. Matings are normally planned a year or so in advance (well I know I and my friends do!). Is the fact that people want you to have pups enough? What happens if they all pull out? What happens if your bitch dies? What happens if your bitches has problems and needs veterinary assistance? (I've just paid a £400 bill to my vets for a bad whleping at the weekend) What happens if all the pups die (I lost 3 out of six).
If you feel that you could cope and can afford that kind of outlay then good luck to you. If not then please just keep your bitch as your pet she doesnt need to experience motherhood.

Sure is late in the day, as you would need to find the stud, see offspring by him to different bitches, preferably some related to yours, to give you an idea of what you might expect to get.

Yes Bec I have my breeding plans running about 5 years ahead as what I would like to do, and at least a year for actual hardened up plans!
