We have been looking for a border terrier pup and have come across a cross between a border terrier and a lakeland.  I can't find much out about Lakelands and wondered what sort of temperament such a dog might have and whether it will be able to be trained ok.  Any advice would be appreciated.

It will be primarilly a working Terrier with strong terrier instincts, as BOTH of the breeds it is crossed with are just that.  Training, depends what you want, will need to be kept occupied and not let get bored.  Will be a great dog in the right hands, but probably not the average family pet.
