Several thing I would look out for
1/a decent breeder will welcome you to visit their dogs ...infact they would INSIST
2/a decent breeder will want to interogate you....she will want to know you are going to look after her baby
3/a decent breeder will answer all your questions
4/a decent breeder will have health tested their dogs...not just 'the vet said shes ok to have puppies'
5/a decent breeder will be prepared to take the pup back if you can no longer keep it
6/a decent breeder will KC register the pups...often with endorsements...this is NOT a bad thing
7/a decent breeder will offer LIFELONG advise and support
8/you should feel comfortable talking to the breeder...they will be your first port of call in times of need
Regards Archer
living in the northwest you live near the local puppy supermarkets.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT GO THERE... they are basically puppy farms! Don't support this industry.

There are many good breeders in the NW
What colour pup are you after and what type - if indeed you have a preference to lines :)
