Hello all,
           Does anyone know where I can buy an ex police dog van. Anything like that would do, ex dog warden, RSPCA etc. Any info gratefully received.

Try giving them a ring and ask what they do with them afterwards- i would imagine most are leased though

Our polive force sell their used vehicles through car auctions, be warned tho Police vehicles don't need MOTs for some reason. So you might buy one & not be able to drive it home

Try your local auction.

Will ask one of the "dog men" at work for you this week Jeff, see if they know where their vans go when they retire!

Hi Jeff,we looked for one also .we found www.withams-sv.com they were helpful, some go to auction but you can go and buy earlier if you want.not sure what they have at the moment,but when we looked they had 2 ex MOD kangoo vans, v reg,fibreglass pod, caging for 2 large dogs, escape hatch,electric extractor fans and they went for £2,000.But they have all sorts of vans and all are caged with no expense spared !!!!!!! miranda

They all go through auction, but if my friends police dogs are anything to go by give them a miss, they WRECK them!
