Are there any advantages joining Champdogs if you are not a breeder? I see on one of the post that you should only ask 1 question as a guest - is this right?

Thank you.

I'm not sure if you can only ask one question as a guest- I know that you can't reply to people's responses unless you register. The advantage of registering is that you can ask experienced breeders and other people who also own dogs on their opinions should you have a problem and they can tell you what they think and what happened in their case etc.........very good, handy advice really. Also if someone posts a thread you may have been through it yourself with your own dog and then you can be one of those advising and saying what worked for you. Like I said as an unregistered guest you can't get involved really- you can only read the posts etc. I think it's quite a valuable resource if you own a dog and it doesn't cost anything to register so you may aswell.

Hi Guest,
Kash has raised some very good points about the benefits of registering for this message board. I think you may be referring to a post I made about joining to ask more than one question. I do mean registering for this board as opposed to joining the main site. You can do this anonymously by picking a name that gives nothing away and hiding your email address from other users (although admin will know it) if this bothers you and you would prefer it that way. The reason for my suggesting a guest joined was for the benefits Kash has mentioned and also I quote an earlier post by admin to another guest :

>>>the visitors question forum was introduced so that visitors to the site could ask their initial question without having to go to the hassle of registering. It was never intended for repeat postings.

If you would like to answer a post or ask another question, you will need to register with us.
Thank you for your understanding on this matter :)

Hope this clarifies it, Sara :)
