Is there any where that I can find the flatcoat stud book online? Or something like a list of pedigree dogs and their pedigrees uk only please! Or if all ele fails can anyone tell me any good websites for show kennels in the uk

The best places to look for pedigrees would be either, The International Flatcoat Directory which is run by Brenda Phillips and is made up of a large majority of british dogs - http://www.flatcoated-retrievers.com/

the other site is the pedigree data base on - http://www.worldpedigrees.com/ which so far when searching I have managed to find a large majority of the pedigrees

for breeders website the best starting place is to actuall look on Champdogs, where a number of breeders either have information on or links to their own websites - http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_flat-coated-retriever.html

You may find a lot of useful sites to look at if you join the flatcoats@yahoogroups.com site. It is for by UK owners and breeders. Also Jill Saville who is a breeder would has records of stud book registered dogs.

polly what about rona dixon she has records of pedigrees,hip,eyes and so on.

Rona has the pedigree data but I am not sure about all the stud books, which I do know Jill Saville holds. I am sure Rona will be equally good. Oh that reminds me..... Admin, Rona's email has changed to rondix@onetel.com and she can't access the board at the moment.
