Is it true that the BOB has been taken away from the dog CC winner as he was down in the catalog as another name?
- By BeckyJ [gb] Date 22.09.04 10:37 UTC
In a word - NO.

It is NOT true that he is entered in a different name.

Nor is it true that he has had the CC/BOB taken away from him as only the Kennel Club have the power to do that.

If you really want all the details - and I imagine you do as you have said this is urgent you can email me privately.

(who was there, has the catalogue and knows the correct story and not the half truths and speculations which are flying round causing the owner great distress).

again it chinese whisper.it all gets out of hand,

i wander if this is the guest which kept writing for details on fcr,but will not sign as a member to champdogs,

it such a shame that this is going on in the fcr,at one time in the fcr  breed owners and breeders  use to be friendly and kind to each other, but there a lot of knife stabbing go on now.???? in and out of the ring,

Tell me about it Terri!

I would bet £100.00 that the "guest" that wrote this post is actually a champdogs subscriber or is on the Flatcoat Yahoo list but doesn't want to ask it on there because he/she knows that it would get straight back to the owner of the dog.

And what I am so curious about is why is it URGENT - why do they have to know.  Will it affect them - I think not.  It is just more fodder for their mindless tittle tattle.

Every time I think I might start showing my dog again I see some comment like this and wonder why I thought about showing again! As you say Terri, we used to be friendly bunch always willing to help each other and would happily chat for ages at the ringside. However I will not change, so if I am at a show I will still offer to help and will still chat. :-) I think everyone should think about this:- "If you can't say something good, then don't say anything"!

I have just read about the veteran flatcoat who was PTS after Darlington with cancer I've just lost my last Border Collie with the same type of cancer & his splaeen had just disintergrated

I feel for the owners it comes as a great shock to lose a dog so quickly
