Topic Dog Boards / Health / Poorly tummy

Meg has had a bad tummy for the last three days now. She is perfectly fine in herself, completely manic as usual. However, when she goes to the loo it is terribly loose, and this morning there was a little bit of blood at the end. She doesn't seem to be going more than normal (although the first night she did get me up during the night, but lasted all night last night), and has a very healthy appetite, although she is just having a small amount of scrambled egg and rice because starving her the first day didn't work and she is so hungry. If it is not cleared by tomorrow i will probably consult a vet, because although she has had this problem before it never usually lasts this long. To my knowledge she hasn't eaten anything she shouldn't have. Is there anything else i can do to help it clear up?

Yes, stay away from scrambled eggs (eggs and milk are contra indicated in diarrhoea) and give live yoghurt with some slippery elm food or Tree Bark Powder from Dorwest.
