Can anyone help us pick a name to call a little boy wheaten terrier? We like the names Callan and Flynn but we cant call them that, so we would like something similar or maybe something completely different but a name that would suite a little barmy monster!!!. Any suggestions? :)

We had the same problem a couple of days ago when we got our new greyhound :D we called her koyaa in the end.  Here are some that crossed our minds:

Dave
Newt
Ripley
Neo
Neddy (although I suspect hes not like a horse - unlike our greyhound :D )
Merlin
Aslan

I kinda like using human names for dog's - for a boy I particularly like Ralph or Tristan :D  However Tristan is just to remind me of how good Brad Pitt looked in Legends of The Fall :D :D

I think Dougal's a great name for a wheaten - I think it'll suit your pup just fine ;)
