i am looking to buy a puppy bulldog for my partner in december. he has wanted one for three years now, and now i feel with our new home it is suitable to raise a dog. we live in gillingham, kent, and would be happy if any one could help me with how i should go about getting a puppy.

Hi, it's my understanding that bulldogs are difficult to come across, well bred ones even more so.  Also, you are looking at paying £1000 plus for a pup.  Therefore I think it unlikely that you're going to source a pup in time for December!  Try getting in touch with the Breed Clubs and maybe think about contacting the Bulldog Rescue?  Many dogs need rehomed due to no fault of their own, but this is ofcourse something you will need to discuss with your partner before making any decisions!
