I have spent some time trying to find a small female chihuahua without any success
can anyone help me?

I believe female chihuahuas are very difficult to come by as their litters are so small and most breeders tend to keep the bitches.  Try getting in touch with the breed club to see if anyone there can point you in the right direction. :)
