My girl is currently 10 weeks late for her season.  On Sunday she was showing early signs of being in season, the tiniest of red discharge and slightly swollen.  Next day it had disappeared altogether.  Do you think this is just her body getting ready for her season, or is it something more sinister?

Her seasons are normally every 9 months to the day, but come 6th October, it will be a year since her last one.

Hi Sharon my girl Emma has done this twice before coming into season. Last time a month ago, she has now been in season for real, two weeks.

This all happened just over a week ago, she stopped on Monday 13th September.  Again she showed signs of being in season on Saturday 18th September and once again it disappeared on Sunday evening 19th September...................this is most frustrating :-(  We do have a vets appointment today, for boosters, so I'll have a chat with her to see if she knows what is happening.  I'll let you all know later.

Ok, my girl has been swollen all week with just the odd spotting, today she is really swollen with red/blood discharge, do I class today as day one??

Ok, checked around with reliable sources and vet, they say count today as day one...............so I know I have to keep her indoors a bit longer now!
