Well my message almost had to be put in missing dogs. I don't know if anyones encountered this problem before but my 2 year old is fascinated by kites, she is normally very good at recall but this morning she saw a kite and she just disappeared and the pup followed her, they were gone for what seemed like ages but was prob only a few  minutes but it really scared us as we didn't see the kite at first. We were in the woods but the dogs went out first and saw the kite, as soon as I saw  it I knew where they would be.They were stuck to the spot just watching it. I'll just have to be very careful in future!

My dog is obsessed with birds, especially those low flying ones (sorry don't know the name), they fly approx 1-2 metres off the ground.
I took her to the beach this afternoon and she ran the full length of the beach to chase this bird. I'm not complaining, it saved me running around in these 70mph winds we are having up here.
