It varies from bitch to bitch, and from season to season in the same bitch, as to which day/s she should be mated. Some are fertile from very early (two or three days in) and others not till later (day 18 or 19, sometimes even later). The average is round about day 12, but it is a good idea to have blood tests taken every couple of days from after day 7 to determine the right time.
