I was just wondering how long the lead needs to be for training recal.Are the 5 or 8 meter retractable leads good enough or do they need to be longer.Thanks for your help

welll my pup will do a recall on the 5 meter lead but if u let him of he will run so u can do it do a 5 meter

Longer. I used to use a 40 foot line.

It's important you don't use a lead - dogs recognize them for what they are, how long they are and know they are attached to it.
