With most companies that do a 'Breeder Scheme' you need an affix. James Well Beloved 01935410600

You are better off creating your own - then it suits your breed.  I used to supply a 3Kg bag for each of my pups so that they remained on the same food - these days I supply  about a weeks worth of raw food as most people can fit that in their freezers.

If you write about your breed and its specifics (see the FAQ's section for ideas) this is often better than a generalised leaflet that most people won't read anyway.

You can get an fairly useful booklet free from many vets called "Scamps Diary"

Hi I do my own packs too as the ones you get free arent much kop, and you are just giving some company free advertising anyway! I buy chews and toys from a wholesale pet store, write out advice sheets on the computer, diet sheet, and 5generation pedigree. A piece of bedding puppy has been used to sleeping on is a good idea. Some food that they are used to, in case the owner wants to gradually change to another brand, as they often do ;) . Kc pups come with six weeks free insurance. I also give useful contact sheets with local training clubs, breed clubs, and interesting websites. Most new owners dont expect much and are well prepared anyway, they just want their new puppy to love!

I sort of combine both methods.  I give the Eukanuba puppy pack, which contians samples of the food and a measuring cup, which I add to me own puppy pack.  this contains the Pedigree, KC  reg(where applicable), piece of bedding, bottle of Water, pot of yoghurt,  insurance certificate (I dont like to rely on the new owners sending off to the KC)  microchip certificate and Puppy Booklet.  This contains breed info, rearing, training and feeding advice.  Details of grooming, buyers copy of contract, pics of pups and parents, and health info for ease of reference and to show the vet - details of when and what was used for worming, flea treatment, vaccination, and the chip number too.  I hope keeping it all in a booklet will make it harder to lose!

bye
