Holly is now 11 weeks, and I have noticed her bottom shuffling a lot over the last few days.

She was wormed 2 weeks ago (stuff from the vet, not a shop), and she went for her second jabs yesterday. I mentioned it to the vet, who emptied her anal glands, as they were quite full.

This morning she is still shuffling!

Any ideas what this could be?  Should I take her back to the vet?

You could try adding a teaspoon of soaked bran to her food. this could help her empty her anal glands as nature intended

She might still be itchy or tender - I am surprised that her anal glands were full at such a young age, what are you feeding her?

I would mention it to the vet - maybe ring and say she is still shuffling

Can Zinc and Castor oil be used on dog's bottoms?

Fagan shuffles when he has a sore bottom if he has had the runs for example.  I usually put a bit of vaseline on it to soothe it a bit.

I am feeding James Wellbeloved, which is what her breeder had her on.
