We would love to have a cocker spaniel puppy.  Our preference is for a solid colour - gold, red or chocolate.  We live in Derby in a large house with a garden and have two children aged 10 and 12.

I work from home so would be around all day and can the dog for a walk 2 or 3 times a day in the park next door to our house.

Please contact me if you know of any which are going to become available at vandaholli@aol.com

Hi Guest,

Great choice cockers-but then again, I may well be biased! :D

I would point you in the direction of the many clubs, I'm sure someone will be able to point you in the direction of a reputable breeder.  The Cocker Spaniel Club is a good place to start, and although they are not supplying breeder lists at the moment, they do have details of local breed clubs.  If you contact the secretaries of the clubs, they should be able to help.  I would also suggest you get in touch with the Solid Colours Cocker Spaniel Association.  You can also see a list of non-commericial breeders on the Kennel Club website.  Good Luck! :)
