Please can anyone help. We purchased a cocker spaniel dog in February 2002 and was promised from the breeders that they would forward on the paperwork, as of yet we still have recieved no paperwork and have tried to contact them without success. Please can anyone advise how we can get this Pedigree paperwork ?
Thankyou

That's 2 and a half years ago. Sorry mate but I don't think the paperwork is ever coming now.

Have you contacted the kennel club, or trading standards if the pup was sold to you as KC registered?
Is there a reason you have now decided to chase this after such a long time?
You must love your dog so much by now that the paperwork shouldn't matter. We had a boxer and didn't bother collecting the paperwork as he was our lovely pet to be spoilt and given a good life. He was still beautiful and special to us and we never needed the paperwork.
Let it go, enjoy your dog and think of it as one less thing to keep in a drawer ( the papers, not the dog!!)

HI did you get it in writing that the paperwork was to follow, if so it is classed as a contract and now the breeder is in breach of contact and you can put in a claim at the small claims court for breach of contact. This claim can be as much as you paid for the puppy, plus compensation if the breeder sold the puppy as K.C. registered and it is not, and accumilative intrest. In all this would pay your little dogs vets bills for a long while. Hope this is of help
