how early dose your dogs wake you up,at the moment blue is 15 weeks she bark around 6,30 after the canadian geese have flowen over the house, make a loud noise which wake her up.the other dog are ok,but blue bye then needs a wee and food, after hour will settle back down for another sleep.

Both of mine stay quiet until I wake up, generally between 6.30 and 7.30 depending on the day :)

Mine don't like to be woken too early and positively sulk on the days I walk them at 6am! They soon get over it once they realise we are going out but soon settle down exhausted when they get home.

They get fed at 6.30 in the week and at week-ends they are both bouncing on the bed begging for food by 7 at the latest!

In the summer, whichever dogs are in the outside kennels (they take turn about - two one night, two the next, etc) start "singing" when they see someone pass the landing window on their way downstairs, which in turn, starts the "inside" dogs sining & getting ready to mug whoever is coming down to put the kettle on - so it's usually 5.30 during the week, and 7.00 at weekends.
In the winter, the radio alarm goes off at 5.15, so it's the inside dogs that start the singing.......

My partner does shift work and on alternate weeks has to get up at 5.00 - so every day he gets up and lets them out to go to the toilet at around 5:15, but then they come back in and either go back to sleep or play until I get up at 7:30 to feed them :) On the weekends they will sleep in until 6:00 - 6:30 before needing to go out.

well we all must be mad????

Oh dear.
Slightly worried.
Mine dont make a noise at all. If Gemma doesnt want to move when I get up, she doesnt!!! She has been known on the weekends to not move until 1pm!!!!!!!!!!
On weekdays I get up at 7 ish, and they are ready for me. But at weekends, I can get up anywhere between 8 and 11!!!!!!!!!Sometimes the kids let them oput, but most of the time the kids go straight into the living room and no where near the kitchen/dining room where they sleep. And they dont make a noise!!!!!!
Surely I am not the only one with Lazy dogs????????
Lea :)

It depends usually around 7-8 unless they had a late night, then they don't get up till I do :D If my children get up and let them out to pee they come and whine at the bottom of the stairs till we get out of bed :( If that doesn't work they will climb the stairs and whine at our door :( They are worse then the kids lol

I wake mine up at 6am when I finish work. Take him out, give him his breakfast, take him to the loo once more. :)
Then he gets into bed with us, until OH gets up to go to work (Days) then he comes back to bed until I get up. :)

my lad doesn't move untill we do.
On weekdays I get up at 6, have coffee and make packed lunches while the Manic one snoozes. At 630 prompt he trickles downstairs to sit at the door for his walk. Hes glad of a long lie till 8 am on weekends. If nobody stirs by 9, he'll come upstairs to see why. Hes very good and dosent make a row or is it very wily? If humans dont move or speak, he can snuggle up under the duvet :)

Mine wake up as soon as they hear me walking down the stairs, Mum is usually up before me and they don't bother. Must be the fact that i mean Breakfast, wee wee's and walkies :) weekdays up at 7.00 then they are happy enough to lay in till 9.00am at weekends, which is not often.

Our bitch sulks if you are up and noisy too early!! She curls up like a squirrel with her nose tucked under her tail! :D She will get a real shock in a few weeks when our new Aussie puppy arrives and we're up at all hours with him! :) She won't want to get up at all in the morning then!!
Lesley
Crikey, you lot are lucky!! Holly wakes us up at about 5am!!!!!!! Jessie would just sleep forever though!
Sometimes Millie wakes up for a wee at 5am (rarely), and OH usually tries to encourage her to go out for a wee at 7am when he gets up but sometimes no amount of pursuading can get her up and if she does, she runs out, runs in, runs upstairs and straight on the bed with me. I usually get up about 8.30/9am and I leave her there until she's ready to get up about 11am :-D
She had a hairdressers appointment at 9am on Saturday, and at five to 9, I tried talking to her to get her out of her deep sleep but she just turned away, so OH had to pick her up and take her down and put her in the car where she slept curled up on the seat next to him for the 5 minute journey.
Needless to say, after that early morning shock activity, she did a lot of sleeping when she got home! :-D

My 3 stay quiet until one of us get up, they never make a sound before hand.
Week days it's about 7am. Weekends it's anytime, depending on what time we went to bed, and if we've got a hang over lol. Like some of you, the kids might let them out for a wee, but then they will just settle down again until we get up.

This is a sore point at the moment - my pup wakes us up at 4.am EVERY MORNING :-o He just can't hold on any longer - he does go back to sleep after he's been out but as we have to get up anyway at 5 am it means we rarely get anymore sleep. He does this at the weekends too. !

Trevor..I uesd to have this with my pup (now 18 weeks old) ..I spoke to the breeder and she said the pup was' trying it on' :D As the pup is crate trained, she said to ignore her ..the first time we did it, pup yelled for half an hour ..I told her NO! and left her....result? Since then we have slept in until 6-7am ;)

yeah we tried this - and he messed his crate ! his litter sister is fine and will go through the night but he seems to have a real problem holding on - he is always desperate for the loo when we go downstairs to let him out - it has got better he used to wake us up at 2 am. :-(

Well I was wokenup at 5.15 this morning by Delta desperate to go to the loo LOLOLOL She must have picked something up and eaten it in the woods last night and it has thrown her usual routine out of the window :D :D

Well our boxers get up after us, alot of the time :)
There still in bed at the mo, and we have been up a little while now.
Lol your bed must be huge Chloe:D its bad enough here with one labrador that thinks he owns the place. Jazz gets up when I do, goes out for a pee and a walk then back to bed he usually surfaces around ten.
Michelle :)
