I have been so preoccupied with so many things, Indigo being ill, the girls having kennel cough, work and the list goes on.................... that I have forgotten two of my little girls birthdays

It was Moose's on the 8th who is 3 years old and she is a very good Labrador now :) But I feel even worse as it was Min's on the 2nd and she was 14 ! She has yet to grow up and still gets into mischief by leading the other two astray !! :D

So why is it they can't remind me two months before  like my two legged version daughter

I do feel everso guilty now so off out to buy something nice for their tea ! :)

You're not the only one to forget :) We forgot Bramble's on the 20th Aug :( Well, it's not his real birthday - we don't know how old he is - it's the 5th anniversary of us adopting him :) Poor dog - he didn't get anything - not even a special hug :(

I've been guilty of forgetting my twin brother's birthday in the past!

Happy birthday to Min and Moose. :)

That's because you were trying not to think about your own age, Kath! ;) :)

If I forget my neighbour reminds me!    We always send each others four legged friends a birthday card....I always remember her dogs birthdays but not my own!

Ditto :) She has a separate calendar marking all her canine friends' birthdays. Her own two dogs have monthly 'birthdays' when they get smoked salmon or similar for dinner. She sends our lot smoked salmon for their birthdays too (enough for all  !) ..... but it usually ends up in the husband :D

I guess this is what's called unconditional love.  Whatever our failings they just keep on loving and trusting us. :)

Whoops - this has just reminded me - not only is 19th Sept Loki's bithday - but it's also No 1 Kipper's birthday too!!!!  Must do a bit of gentle reminding all round - last year he was quite upset - Loki got more birthday cards than he did!!!!:D :D :D
