could anyone please tell me the best way for crate trainig my 10 week old puppy.when i put him to his crate in the evening he is locked in there for no more than 3 hours then we get up to let him out the problem is he has done all his dirt in his bed.but if i leave his crate door open he will come out of his bed and do it near the door whitch is good but i have been told to leave his door locked as he will never learn.should i leave his door open all night or lock it

If he can't get your attention to let him out of his crate the minute he needs to go out (it may be 10 minutes or 4 hours after you've left him) then he is going to have to go. If he can't get away from his bed he is learning that you expect him to use his bed as a toilet ...
