Contact the breed clubs to see if any reputable breeder has knowledge of any available. You will, of course, insist that it has been BAER tested and that both parents are sound stock.

do they come longhaired then? do they still look spotty or just look stripey? how long is the hair? loger than a long haired weiminaer? <sp?-sorry thome!>

Ahem, michelled :D

The longhaired weimaraner is a recognised variant of the coat and as such can be shown alongside the shorties and there have been 2 Sh Ch Longhaired dogs; it is not a "fault" as in other breeds :D :eek:

Climbs back in pram and puts thumb/tongue back in mouth :D

Just looked at link :eek:  one can only hope they remain "rare"!
