I am planning to go to Boston and New England the week before Christmas and would like to go dog sledging.

Does anyone know of a kennels who offer this.  We will be speding two days in Boston then heading North -no plans yet where to go but possible two/three hours drive north.  Would like to book before we go to surprise my husband. (well its for me really but I am sure he would also enjoy it)

Have looked at dog sledging in Denmark, Norway etc., but the costs is too high - £300 to travel by dog sledge from the airport to the hotel (2 hour ride)

I know there is a kennel in Aviemore, but would love to do it in New England

I'm off to Boston and New England in about four weeks time. We're going to be travelling around New England upto the White Mountains. If you'd like me to, i will make some enquiries for you, whilst i'm there?

Snoopy - luck you. Are you doing a fly drive - have you been before.   I have been 5 times but as we usually go in the Autumn have never looking into sledging.  We now really want to see New England with snow, which is why we are waiting til later in the year.

Sorry, I don't know how to make that clickable. But if you type it in your search, you can read some horrifying facts. I'm sure it doesn't occur in all races or very often, but I was amazed.

Thanks Jan. Nope, haven't been before. And yes i suppose it's a bit like a fly drive. We're also flying to Toronto and going to visit Niagra Falls, and then flying onto New York.
I shall certainly keep my eyes peeled for any sled kennels around. Fingers crossed in the meantime that you have some luck searching for this. :-)
