I want to know anything about them?

I would imagine it is a derogatory term used to describe some of the overdone heavy show type labs, or one without much brain! LOL :D

Theres no such thing as block head labs in our breed standard but I know that in america that some are reffered to as that as my penfriend calls them that, its a term used for labs with rottie type heads,I wouldnt admit to breeding them they dont even look like a labrador a lab should look like a lab and not a rottweiler
In My opinion.

Oh, so are these the Labs that are now oversized & 100+ pounds???? Examples of the extreme breeding that's being encouraged over there?

You've got me there, 100 lbs plus where are they? not seen any,our breed standard is very clear on size and type,do you mean in the US?,I only know they like a stronger head but Im sure thier breed standard isnt much different in height.
Although they do appear bigger in magazines etc...
Please can you elaborate? sorry :)

I know breed standards haven't officially changed, but "bigger is better" in many average individual opinion these days. I've seen huge labs over here in Germany accompaning their US owners. Also I've seen ads in magazines & websites.
Here's one:
Height: Dogs 22-24 inches (56-61cm.) Bitches 21-23 inches (53-58cm.)
Weight: Dogs 60-75 pounds (27-34kg.) Bitches 55-70 pounds (25-32kg.) Some males can grow to 100 pounds (45kg) or more.
this description came from:

Personally, as energetic and active as Labs are, I wouldn't want one that's giant sized.
