I have a jack russell which from a while ago hates dog food. She used to eat it but them my new husband started feeding her meat. She now only like the pal meaty chunks (without the dry food)
Since she has her operation the other week and being on antibiotics and painkillers she hates it even more.

What can i feed her? It is expensive to feed meat.. what can i do? I dont want her to get fat either.

Please advise

You could try cooked, (simmer for 30 mins) deboned chicken and plain boiled rice, together with a vit/min supplement. About 40% chicken 60% rice by volume. Its a good "recovery" food after ops, and most dogs love it. If they like "wet" meals you can add a little of the broth you have cooked the chicken in. I buy bags of cheap "budget"joints from the supermarket or you can buy minced chicken from dog food suppliers, but mine prefer the "human" quality.
