Munsterlander

From a non-specialist of the breed imagine a Spaniel crossed with a English Setter

The Large Munsterlander is a German Longhaired Pointer. It is black and white and looks like a cross between a spaniel and a setter. They are an off-shoot of the German Longhaired Pointer, which is brown and white. They hunt, point and retrieve game. They love being the centre of attention, especially after rolling in a muddy puddle ;) and are excellent family pets. Which is why I have 3. :D They will do anything you want them to, from working game, doing agility, obedience, flyball as well as showing.

The only thing against them is that when you get one, you want another which is why I lived with 6 at one time.
