hi i have year old akita living outside  in a kennel specially build for him,this mornining i realised his testicles were red,so i tryed to examine them,he wont let me toch them,than i gave him a bath while i was giving him a bath i checked his testicles they were very sore,any advice what could have caused it? next week him im taking him for his booster and i will get vet to check it out,any advice in between pls'

Yes...if he is that sore don't wait till next week...take him tomorrow

Could be dermatitis of his sctotum. But I agree with Archer - take him to the vet tomorrow & get him checked out. He will need tx if it is sore.

Does he sit on the concrete a lot?  I have a shar pei male that does this all the time & his testicles were a bit red recently. I covered them in Sudocrem & he was fine the next day, but if you think this is something else or there might be infection there, then please take him to the vet.
