my one pup was born at 3.30 this afternoon. I want to weight her so I can keep an eye on here weigh  but mummy won't let me nr her. Any ideas??

Can't you try and take mum out for a wee, or get somebody to do it for you, even if just for a minute, so you can quickly weigh the pup and put it back before mum comes back?  You'll probably have to put her lead though, she won't go willingly ;-)
