i do not want to breed, and due to that, ive had my bitch spayed (stitches out on friday), but i am constantly asked by family members y did i have her spayed, do i not want cute little puppies and the joy of breeding etc etc you all know the story.  ive had her spayed so its not a problem, but im fed up of them questioning my judgement and what a lovely money maker it would be.
i use to have a bernese, she was not spayed because we had three bitches so there was never a need but the same story happened back then.  nothing ever happened and she got a pyo at four so obviously was spayed then but it was still, 'o i so wanted to breed from her' -from my dad.  she was not even a good example of the breed, over shot jaw and too small.
any suggestions would be very helpful because it is getting on my nerves and ruining the time with my bitch because they are ALWAYS on about it

Just say you didnt get her to make money from her, you got her to be your friend and because you knew she would not ask silly questions :D
