Well.....it sounds like you have some detective work to do. You'll have to find what motivates her, what does she like the best of anything in the whole wide world. LOL. If it's extra special treats, some special toy....whatever. It has to be something she really, truly wants......badly. Then also you have to make whatever it is you want her to do VERY enticing and fun.

Be sure she's not all wound up by giving her enough exercise for her age.

Some dogs just need more enthusiasm and motivation going on than others.

They are all individuals for sure, even within the breed. So, don't be suprised that your girl and your boy are different. There are sometimes vague differences in the two sexes also...different with different breeds. (so they say)

Hello again,

When doesn't she listen? for example is it when you are trying to stop her doing what SHE wants to do. Or is it when you just generally speak to her?

My staffi is 16 weeks too, a bitch, but she doesn't eat allot. I've just looked after my brother-in-laws staffi, a dog, for the weekend, while 'da men folk' went camping...left me to clean lots of poop up...lol...but he ate loads more than her and he is only 11 weeks old? For breakfast she has either 1/2 a tin of rice pudding, 1 weetabix or 1 scrambled egg with toast and a bit of ham, but it's there all day, till I give her her tea, which is beta puppy mix with mackerel, liver or chicken, she eats that but takes her ages??? I don't give her big portions; the beta is 1/2 a mug full...so I don't know why she doesn't eat as much. But she has a nice coat, and isn't under weight, so I probably worrying about nowt...???...lol...as for listening, she does when she wants too...lol
