I Found a pup at local rescue, can come to me if I pass a homecheck, really worried I Know I can give a dog a great home. has anyone had one and what do they look for. I understand why they have to do this.

Basically they want to know that you have a secure garden, that the pup won't be left on its own for hours and hours each day and that you are aware of the responsibilities (and reality!) of dog ownership. They also like to meet all the family to ensure that everyone is equally keen on having a dog.

You sound like me and probably the majority of other people that need to 'pass' a test to get what they really want!!!!!!!!!!
I have no self confidence and get very nervous if I have to pass a 'test'  Thinking of all the things that they may say no to!!!!!!
I felt like that when I went to pick up Beano (yes Gwen!!!!!! I didnt believe I would bring him home!!!!!!But oh so glad I was able to!!!!!!!)
Just be yourself. Dont lie, and you will be fine.
Sorry, I have never had a 'home check' So have no idea what one is like, but know there will be someone along very soon to help.
Just thought I would let you know you are not alone, and am sure everyone else that has a homecheck feels the same way.
Be yourself. And am sure you will have your pup home soon :D :D :D :D And make sure you let us know ~:)
