Is it true that dogs should not eat onions whether they be cooked or un cooked, somebody told me they affect the dogs blood.

Onions can trigger haemolytic anaemia and should never be fed to dogs, cooked or uncooked.

Completely agree. Strange to tell but one gundog training book by a very well known trainer actually recomends feeding them!! I was horrified when I saw it. This particular book has been many peoples training bible for a good many years.
