Hmmm, yes.  Had not thought of that ... it's been a LONG time since I wanted to add years to my age!

Felt horribly old at work when a new nurse was reading some magazine with a cover story "Look 5 years older in 5 minutes"!  Older?  Older?  Surely a misprint:-).  I felt about 100 (I'm 24)!

It's tough leaving home, I know from experience.  When I went to uni I discovered that there are no housework fairies after all.  Very disappointing, I can tell you :-).  Make the most of it while you can, bullboy ;-)

I was tryin to quote a post from Stacey here, but I'm pretty new to the board and still finding my way around.  Apologies if it doesn't work.

If you put a > in front of your quote it will show up a different colour, or you can use  " "   :)

Was it just me or did everyone think that bullboy was being sarcastic in his first post? Anyway bullboy, only three acres? I cant help thinking that this post was started so bullboy could show off about his house...

No not really, just somewhat naive and perhaps a rather childish question but some of us were happy to answer even if from most it was with a grin. :)

A tip!!!! but the 4 dogs love it.
Soon moving to a 3 bed detached with 4 and a half acres in Cardigan.
Bliss, but it won't take the dogs long to wreck that one either.

Self Build, oddly designed, detached 3 Bed Bungalow - all open plan - too new (apart from dog drool up the walls) - too shiney (apart from dog drool up the walls) - but lots of trees in a private garden.
.....still reckon my bum might be bigger than your house though Bullboy....its even got its own pantry !

Reading the first post almost makes me want to move back with my mother!!!  We used to have the perfect house for pets with heaps of land.

Now however, I live in a funny sort of flat - it's the top half of a semi, you walk up about 6 outside stairs to the front door then inside there's another little half flight up, it's very odd.  2 bedrooms, drawing room, kitchen, bathroom - nothing special.  We've got a garden though, which is pretty rare in London.

Actually, thinking back, I'd hate to live in a big house again.  It was always freezing, an absolute mess and most of it was only held together by ivy!  No central heating and we had no gardener so everything went wild.  Great for children and pets though.

It was in the sticks, and probably costs about the same as our current flat :-( .  That's London...
