Hi,

Are there any Aussie owners/breeders that are going to Bournemouth Champ show at New park on the 14th?  We are hoping to get an Aussie soon and I'd really like to see them being shown and to meet some Aussie owners.  Unfortunately we won't be able to get there till about lunchtime (dressage test in morning!) and i know it's a benched show but i don't know what time the classes are or what time they let you leave your bench?

Any info much appreciated!

most aussie people don't leave their benches till near the end!!!!  no doubt they will all be standing round the benches chatting for long time after judging has finished!!!!!  So by all means go and talk to them!  I myself will not be their  but their is a resonable entry so many people will be their to talk to.....

At least it all sounds very friendly!  It's years since we did any kind of showing, we've been mainly obedience for ages now.  I admit that i do get bored with all the standing around, and i only like it if i'm getting placed! :-)

At least with the obedience and agility i enjoy just going and competing, it doesn't matter if i get placed or not.

I don't suppose anyone knows class times or anything?  I'd like to see them shown, I confess i don't even know if they are shown stacked or free-standing!  Must do my homework on showing again :-)

I don't know times...aussies are freed stood...but also stacked....I stack all my aussies, and then either free stand them or will hodl their heads by the lead...if you know what I mean...You will learn alot just by watching....just make sure you can run....mine keep me fit round the ring...

Ok I own a aussie in partnership with my grandparents, and handle another one of theres!  I live with and handle/show Irish Red and white setters owned by my parents!

I then handle numerous other breeds for friends varying in size border terrier/parson russel up to a dearhound!!!!!!, and will handle for someone if needed at a show (yesteday I handled a dane!)
