I've got an interview in an hour for a Bakers job and I'm so so nervous because I REALLY REALLY want it just because the hours are so nice.
I know its going to be hard hot work but I just want someone to say its not a hellish job and I'm kidding myself thats its going to be nice.
Please Please someone say its a nice job :D

I don't know any bakers but good luck for the interview anyway!
The mum on Royle Family had a job at a bakers, and she loved it, used to bring all the squashed cakes home for Jim Royle at night. It's only tv....but I like it!
Good luck.

My ex FIL was a master baker for the shop once voted Britains best, MIL worked in the shop :) He was there from working p/t as a delivery boy before he left school until he retired, MIL worked there for about 10 years. It was really nice having all that lovely fresh bread, and yummy cakes :) The only draw back as far as I would be concerned would be the wasps in the summer, as I have a very bad reaction to wasp stings :(
I'm a trainee Baker as from Tuesday :) I'm so so excited and can't wait for Tuesday to come :D so I think I'll have a few beers to celebrate tonight otherwise I don't think I'll sleep :D
They couldn't believe in the interview that it was the hours that attracted me to the job as its what puts most other people off :) If nothing else it will make a nice change to be waking the dogs up instead of the other way around :D

Sure you will enjoy it Steve. I was a confectioner baker for 10 yrs, it's a totally absorbing job that allows your creativity to shine, I loved it. Very hot in the summer though nice in the coming winter months for you. Just don't eat too many buns. :D

Thanks everyone :) well I've survived 4 days of 5 a.m starts and have loved every minute of it so far :) in fact its been quite nice waking the dogs up instead of the of the other way around for a change :D
But I must admit I'm not looking forward to tomorrows 3.30a.m start, although I should be finished by 8.30 a.m so its not too bad :)
Time for a sleep now :D
