Just wondered what everyone uses in the house to keep doggy smells away ? :)
I am always paranoid about smells - and even more so now that the house is on the market
so would appreciate any advice as to what you use for that "o so fresh" smell :D :)

If we have visitors (as we did yesterday) who are NOT doggy people, I tend to bath the dogs first ;) Then I vacuum using a sprinkle of Neutradol carpet powder (though some dogs get skin irritation from that) and finally I spray the sofa etc with Febreeze JUST before they arrive

Of course, all this was for naught because, after visitors had been here for about 3 hours, Delta found a MASSIVE puddle which she waded through, and then went behind the shed and played in the mud ...result? One stinky smelly wet puppy who ran into the house and promptly shook herself all over the visitors :D :D

We use chromessol air fresheners that automatically spry every 10 minutes or so

Perfumed oils in water on one of those oil burners with the night light type candles.  They work a treat.  I find the Green Tea perfume best, not too overpowering but enough to mask any doggie odours.

I like the Ambi Pur plug in for pets - it's one of the nicest smelling air freshners out there, I'd use it even if I didn't have dogs ;)
