Where do you all stay when you have shows too far away from home?  I have booked into a few B&B's for some of our shows but I had real trouble finding ones who take dogs.  Is there a website which has doggy friendly ones ?  Im struggling to find any B&B's for one of our shows which is in Peterlee any ideas ?

Travelodge take dogs at £5 extra

I use this site for booking B & Bs as it is clear there whether the establishment takes dogs or not.

The Holdiday Inn takes dogs, occasionally you will find a town centre one doesn't, but it tells you on their website.

Stayed in a travelodge last night on the way back from Scotland and had to pay £10 for Barney.

They are going to price themselves out of the dog market then because it was this that made a lot of people choose them over travel inns that do not allow dogs..........

Try the Holday Inn Express instead of a Travelodge if there is one in the area.  They don't charge extra for dogs and a continential breakfast is included.   They are usually £49 in out of city locations.

I have stayed at a Travelodge twice this year and haven't told them I have a dog, no one questioned it.

Yep, I managed to book a cheap room on the internet (£25 a night) then i have to pay £10 for Barney :(   We stayed in a lovely B&B for a couple of nights up in Scotland, I didn't have to pay any extra for Barney and he was asked what he wanted for breakfast.
