Hello people! (Haven't been posting for a while - hope everyone's well).
Does anyone know if it's possible to get hold of the above? I go through lots of the environmentally-unfriendly type everyday (or rather Cam does), and I hate to think of them all sitting in a landfill site somewhere for five billion years before they degrade.
Thanks!

nappy bags????? How quick do they biodegrade???????
Lea :)
What about those ones the council provide free? You can pick them up at post offices. Or is that just in my area? You know they are black and you get more on your hand than in the bag. I use sainsbury's carriers, feel sure they are biodegradable nowadays.

Well, in lincolnshire you the council dont give them away (but should do as my main route to school is a case of dodge the pooh!!!!!!!!!!!) But I use Tescos bags at home and very very cheap nappy bags when out (asda smart price) but use 2 so dont get anything on me!!!!!
Jo, try ebay. Have just been on there and am sure that I have seen someone selling ones that biodegrade in 2 years. Just do a search and you should find them. Reasonably priced as well.

Thanks Claire - will do!
To everyone else - nup - I'm afraid that cheapo nappy sacks and Tesco carrier bags don't biodegrade - they'll be around long after we're gone and long after our children's children are gone.

Jo :)
I use bread bags, the ones my veggies come in etc. They don't cost me anything and as I'm throwing them away anyway I'm not adding to the rubbish problem by using them as poo bags first. :)

Well this has concerned me for a long time so I pick up at home with newspaper. But I'm afraid I do use the council poop bags when I'm out.
