I HAVE 8 2 WEEK OLD BIXER PUPPIES AND I WAS TOLD BY THE VET THAT I COULD NOT GET THERE TAILS DOCKED,NOW I HAVE FOUND OUT THAT THERE IS A DOCKING CLUB BUT IS IT TOO LATE FOR MY PUPS.

Hi Natalie

Yes, I am sorry, it is too late.  It must be done in the first few days before the nervous system is fully developed.  Really, you should have looked into all this before the litter was born.  I am surprised the stud dog owner didn't tell you what to do.

Yes it's too late now - if it is to be done at all it has to be done when they are a few days old - ideally about 3 days.

Yes it is too late, I would have thought you would have researched this thoroughly before embarking on breeding however a tail is not a "defect" and there are plenty of people who would like an undocked puppy; providing of course you have had the other health checks carried out which in your breed's case is I believe heart testing and hip scoring.
