Hi,
Anybody out there had to use Propalin Syrup to stop incontinence in a young dog (spayed)?
Thanks in anticipation.

Yes, our 6 year old HV bitch has been on Propalin since the beginning of the year. She was spayed when she was 4 and a half and we think the incontinence, which is in fact usually very mild but sometimes worse ie when nervous, is linked to the spay. Our vet has said we can have a correcting op done but as yet the Propalin is working and we have only used 2 bottles(£20 each but claimable)since the problem started. We were told by someone that her bitch started fitting when she had been on it a long time but we haven't come across any problems so far. Apart from the taste, they say its palitable but from the look on Chloe's face I'd say otherwise!
Hope this helps, have you talked to your vet?
Emily
