we are breeding are bitch both dog are hip and eye tested and both are shown. the problem is we had are bicth blood tested to get the right time and the time is now her blood isclear when the dog gets on top of her she will stand for him with us holding her. but her bits have not swollen not even as little bit i asked the vet and she said some do and some do'nt.as it is now the stud dog can not enter her the stud dog is provn and is really interrested in her and he is really trying. any help would be gratefull

I had a bitch that when in season she was never swollen, she had a litter and the stud dog had no problems finding the target either. ;-)

You really need two people to help with the mating especially as the bitch is a maiden bitch, even if the stud dog is proven you still need help with both dog and bitch.
