Thought I would update on new cavalier pup with tummy full of worms and a need to pee every five/ten minutes.  I have spent the last six days with her 24/7 completely neglecting family and home and she has progressed in leaps and bounds. The last two days she has been troting outside to relieve herself with me in pursuit with the necessary treat. Only two puddles in two days except of course at night but I would not expect her to be dry during the night. I do not think by any means that I can claim she is housetrained but she at least has the basic idea. I have always though that she was about 3/4 weeks younger than the breeder claimed and feel that this probably was the reason for her slow progress.  Anyway thanks for all your advice.

That's good news, Margaret. Don't worry about the housework - life's too short to be clean and tidy ;).

Housework??? OMG! I knew there was something I should be doing :D
