I wrote a topic here yesterday discussing my puppy and her breed.  Today the topic has been taken down.  I get email notification of replies to the posts I make and I recieved a reply from someone telling me 'that there is no need to use language like that' and that it is against the rules to post a link to a site you are affliated with.

Firstly I did not use bad language to any extent that it would upset a 'normal' person I remember using the B word to describe ummm testicles...lol...sorry I am apparently not allowed to say it so I wont.  But I used that word once and I was told that 'there are children here'...Now I am sorry but one light usage of a hardly offensive swear word if you can even call it that anymore is far less than any child who may be reading here gets to hear in the playground.  I can't belive that because one reader threw her toys out of the pram over one swear word and a link to a picture of my puppy only would result in having my whole topic removed.

I don't understand how posting a link to show off my puppy which only contains pictures, nothing else no commercial content whatsoever would be against the rules?...A private non commercial personal homepage with just a couple of pictures of my puppy is all.  I am not even a breeder it isn't even like I could be trying to gain any publicity to make money or something.  It wasn't advertising, just a simple link to share my puppy.  I really don't get it at all.

Thank you Melodysk for contributing to having my topic removed for no other reason than you apparently didn't like it...I don't see how people like you get on in the 'real world' where there is much more to offend a person than one semi swear word and a few pictures of a puppy, sorry girl but you need to get a life and grow up.  I don't even see how any of what I said could have offended you.  I am a friendly person not out to upset anyone and I don't see why my post was met with such hostility from you?  I mean how do you even live if such small thing's are an offence to you?  Do you even ever turn the TV on at all because you must just boil with rage at everything you see.  Do you even live in the real world at all or in some bubble someplace because it seems you are completly removed from reality if you can't stand to read the word B*L***KS just once.  Uptight much?

I guess I just don't belong here with such over sensitivity.

*scratching my head*

Never mind.

How about................................
Admin took the post off, If there nothing wrong with it, it would NOT have been Removed. posts are not removed just because 1 person does not like something the poster has said.
If you have a problem contact admin. They are very nice, and are there to keep the site clean and safe, and would not remove anything that they did not feel necessary.
If you read the terms and conditions, maybe you will find out why it was removed, maybe then you would like to come back when you are not being nasty to one of the contributors.

Hi I didnt see your post but if you read the terms of service you and the rest of us agreed to when we joined the forum it does state that these things are against the rules .The word you do not find offencesive would show up on a search engine and could attrack  a number of sensless posters who have nothing better to do than disrupt the forum with their offencesive drival and Admin wants to keep this forum child friendly.  Nothing wrong with that is there? :)You can also place the link to your photos in your profile but as Admin hasn't the time to check every link that is posted to peoples own site to make sure it isn't unsuitable we are all asked to refrain from posting it as an advert in our posts, which it still is even if it is only pictures if we do so. The rules apply to us all but how many of us have read the terms of service I know I didnt when I first joined.:) Gillian

Sweetie, I had nothing to do with having your topic removed. I sometimes wish I had that power :) Your post probably broke the  Terms of Service on several counts and THAT is why is has been removed, possibly for editing :)
I suggest you read the Terms of Service before posting ..it takes most of us a while before we know them, I know I was guilty of breaking them when I was a newbie.

I am more than capable of swearing IF I need to , I just don't feel the need to on the forum, I have more self control than that ;) As for the real world, you know nothing about me ...except that I told you that swearing wasn't necessary

You do yourself and your *breed* no service by acting like a spoilt child

Oh , and finally, as for calling me 'girl' ...I am 49 :D So thank you , you have made my day :D

If you cannot obey the terms of service which you agreed to when you joined Myschievous then your posts will be removed. Blaming other people for your bad language will not get you very far and will certainly not endear you to the members here.

Not referring to the amber stuff again are you John ;)

Funny you should say that Jackie! I've just brought myself a new Malt cupboard, 5ftX7ft. Some people call it a potting shed but I have better uses for it! It goes to replace the one which unfortunatly burnt down last spring. I must admit it was a lovely blaze though! ;)

Not surprised considering its content, bet it made a lovely blaze if only you could see it through the tears. Still cheers, will have an extra wee dram for you this evening to launch the new sprit store cupboard. :D

Oh, don't worry, I made sure it was empty before allowing it to catch fire. (Maybe it was the emptying which caused it to catch fire in the first place
